Canfor Lumber Crane Install Project
ROIL Projects Inc. was commissioned by Canfor Lumber in Grande Prairie, Alberta to help with the install of a 5 ton overhead knuckle boom crane in one of their buildings at their Grande Prairie Mill.
What
About the Project
We were tasked with lifting and setting all of the structural steel for the lumber crane. Once the main sliding beam and trolley were assembled we rigged up one of our Reverse Jibs to allow us to lift the entire assembly up and set onto the support beams.

All and all the project was extremely successful, Not only was it completed in the allotted time frame, in doing so, we saved our client an immense amount of time and money.
